My biggest trips ventured me and my backpack to two short 2-3 weeks in Aus, six months in South East Asia, one year teaching English in South Korea and 2 and a half months in India. With lots of mini trips squished in between.
This blog shares some stories from my travels, with maybe a few helpful tips in between. If you’d like to travel but are worried, please don’t, research where you’re going, save your pennies and go go go!

Just came across your blog and am excited to follow along on your journeys! I lived in Thailand last year and I also teach English. Hopefully we can connect and share travel and teaching stories 🙂
All the best,
Jessica
Hey Jessica, thanks for following me! I’m not teaching English anymore but I have lots of stories to share so please keep reading. I’d love to read yours too! Are you still living abroad?
Laura
Yes definitely! I’m not currently abroad but I will be moving to South America later this year to continue teaching! 🙂
Amazing! I am currently in the process of applying for jobs to teach English abroad and South Korea is top of my list!
Hi Yasmine,
Thanks for your comment! Sorry for the delay… Congratulations, I had a fantastic year teaching in SK. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any advice. Are you applying through EPIK or a hagwon (private academy)? Good luck with your application!
